Desperate times...

Weather hasn't exacly been amazing since I got back here after christmas. A week ago I got feed up with driving around looking for dry rock, and went to the gym in Arbonne and bought a membership. Since then, that's where I have been hanging out...

Video - Two from Brione

In mid October, Neil and I sat of on a weekendtrip to Ticino. After spending 16 hours in the car, for one and a half days of climbing in not so good conditions, we came to the conclusion that Brione is a bit to far away from Font for going over a weekend. The climbing however, is amazing and I would love to go back and try some of the boulders I only got to see a glimse of during this visit.

Neil filmed me on the the two problems I managed to get up, and with the footage I have put together this short...

Trying to make the second move of De Vita Beata a little less physical by using wierd heelhook-beta.
I'm not sure though, whether it makes it easier or just complicates things... Photo: Henrik Hult.

Video - Autumn bleaus

This video contains a handfull of problems that I climbed and filmed before going home over Christmas. While being home, I had a bit of time that I used to edit the footage, between eating and sleeping which my three weeks in Sweden was mostly about.

Now that I´m back in Font, I am struggling to get back in shape. It´s been kinda tough up until this point, but after being blessed with amazing, cold weather (apart from the snow) over the last two days, I think I've reached a turning point. I can feel my body slowly adapting to the climbing and all the walking I'm doing around here and with that, my motivation is also returning. A bit of a relief since I have been worried about not enjoying going out into the forrest as much as I use to.

Featured problems:
Sensation 7B+ - Bois Rond
Peter Pan 7B+ - Rocher du Mauvais Passage
Thriller 7C+ - Rocher des Demoiselles
Le Bivouac assis 7C - Cuvier Est
Welcome to Tijuana 7C - Apremont Envers

Ticino village

Here are some pictures from the village Lavertezzo, nearby Brione in Switzerland. I took them during a weekend-trip Neil and I did in mid October. Unfortunatly we had bad luck with the weather, having to climb in 25 degrees in Chironico on the Saturday and getting rained on in Brione during the Sunday. 16 hours of driving for one and a half days of climbing is a bit to much of a gamble to be worth it. However, I considered my self happy with the trip, climbing three problems I had not done before...

Morning mist setbacks

FotoredigeradFW-003
Stefan Pettersson on his way in to Rocher de Bouligny, luckily unaware of the fact that Amok still is drenched after the morning mist. This came to be one of many days during the late autumn, where we found ourselfs being chased around forrest by fast moving clouds of fog. In the end I got to climb a couple of problems I hadn't done before, which I was very happy with considiring how the day started.
